THE NEW SITE

We have been working on this new site for a while and it isn't all the way finished but we decided to launch despite some of the negative comments about our site.

We are having a drawing for 3 winners in the following contest and to keep things fair and civil we are requesting that shroomery members only post 1nce in this contest to be qualified.

it's called the Allen strain...

not the John Allen strain.


it was not developed by John Allen...

although he found it.


the strain was developed by me.

and I named the strain after him as a tribute to my friend.

Thanks for the update on that Roadkill. This strain was submitted to us from a Shroomtalk member and is very popular.

I am sure there is allot of disinformation out there, good thing there is places like this to help correct information that is passed on, its like the telephone game, if you spread the info between enough people it gets changed or warped a bit from the original.

Any more information you have on it would be greatly appreciated, as you can see our info is limited and to have a description from the founder of the strain would be perfect!

Just ordered a syringe of the B+ strain and hopefully everything works out well. This place should own but I cant say for sure until I get my order. So far so good! Do I win? hahaha

a contest!?!? From spores101!?! Saweeeeeet dude. I have only ordered twice from your site (only ever owned two syringes in my life) and just love it! God i hope i win! (even to win a swift kick in the ass from spores101 wouldn't be bad)



A few comments negative and positive about the site.
Negative - There is a lot more stuff to load, i have a 2KBS internet speed and your site before you upgraded only took about 20 seconds to load each page (thats fast for me), now it takes about 2 minutes.
- I have to watch a Flash Video to get a discount code? that sucks.
- Personally i think its a bad idea for people to input there reviews on spores, thats going to lead to trouble.
- "Was: $25.00 USD Now: $15.00 USD" When was it 25$? just makes it sound like your trying to push the product on me. I didn't need some sign that says "was this much now this much", i can shop the internet and look at competitors prices. Just give me the price.

Positive - Very nice layout
- Easy to Use(after some exploration)
-Excellent Quality and wide variation of products
- Good service
-Better Descriptions with a good picture of the product
- Makes me wish i was rich so i could just buy them all and look at each one individually under a microscope and have tons of edible mushrooms to eat!

Conclusion - To much eye candy and not enough serious shopping for me. all i see is "flash movie this!" and "lets confuse the simple minded shoppers with more stuff to navigate through and more pictures and colorful stuff", even though ill still order from you because your reliable and good at what you do.

Wow if you were looking for more positive feed back then this isn't going to get me any brownie points, but it is constructive criticism.
