I'm for giving it to the hall of fame as is. I don't like Bonds as much as anyone, but this is an important piece of baseball history regardless of how Bonds achieved it. It's more important than steroids. It's not a huge deal to me, but I don't think that it should be asterisked.

I don't think it's an important piece of baseball history. It's kind of silly to covet that particular ball over the other 755. Every one of them contributed the same increment towards the total. Sports museums are full of that kind of stuff though.

I think the asterisk is symbolic of a newly increased awareness toward corruption and cheating in sports. Hopefully it will remind us that playing a fair game is much more important than tallies and records. The asterisk makes the ball more significant historically, IMO.

Well, i was hoping for outer space, but with that package, the ball got the astrisk, which is what matters.
