What computer games did you used to play?

I'm talking early 2000's maybe even into the late 90's. Games that didn't take half your hard drive and didn't have the best graphics and huge worlds.
MMORPG's excluded.
My list goes something like: Lords of Magic Ceasar 3 Heroes of Might and Magic Return to Krondor Command and Conquer
What you guys got? I'm looking for a good time killer.

Jedi Knight II: Outcast. Excellent game, SUPER fun to play, very very cool game I highly recommend it.
Civilization 3. If you like strategy games, this one will suck your life away. Fun, but steep learning curve.
Vampire the Masquerade: Redemption. Earlier game, really really cool story line and great graphics for its time.
Thief II. Shitty graphics, AWESOME gameplay. This one is so much fun, and in my opinion, much better than Thief 1 and Thief III. Play it, it's great.
Baldurs Gate II. And the expansion Throne of Bhaal, if you can get it. I seriously believe this is the greatest expansion pack to any game ever made. Baldur's Gate II was a great game, so if you like RPGs, try it out. You won't regret it.

playing fallout2 is an ABSOLUTE NECESSITY!!
have you ever got pissed how you have to pay for everything in rpgs? not anymore, just steal it!!
ever gotten bored and pissed you weren't allowed to attack NPCs? shoot that little girl in the face, massacre an entire town, or kill every person in the game if that's your fancy!!
the original fallout is probably good too, but I haven't played it so i can't recommend it.
(tips: patch the game BEFORE you start, QUICK SAVE HOTKEY OFTEN!!!!!, playing a good guy will make the game easier but playing a bad guy is much more fun)

For me it went Wolfenstein 3D -> Doom -> Doom 2 -> Duke Nukem 3D -> Half-Life (and then Counterstrike)
That's the start of 3D gaming (for me) to the beginning of the 2000's.

xenogears [the original]
final fantasy 7
metal gear solid
starcraft
counterstrike
porsche unleashed
i also played asheron's call for a while and made some money doing it [sort of like World of Warcraft, but it came out about 5 years before it and was much, much more fun in my opinion - WoW SUCKS]
any games with donkey kong
i miss games from the 90s, they relied so much more on deep plots, strong character backgrounds, and excellent gameplay than fancy graphics alone

the original? Did they make a sequel?
I played a good bit of the original on PSX, but I definitely didn't finish it. (My copy is long since sold, unfortunately.)

I used to play this terrible MMORPG way back in the day by Sierra... pretty much the only thing to do was kill rats.
I can't remember the name. It was simplistic. "The Realm" maybe. That sounds right.

Planescape:Torment. Maybe the best pc game of all time and no one has heard of it.
Civilization II.
Alpha Centauri. Picks up where Civ 2 left off. One of the best games no one has heard of.

Yeah they made some really anime looking sequel on the ps2 I think, it was total crap I heard it was so lame I never considered trying it myself. I was told it didn't follow the original story very much, the voiceovers sucked and cutscenes were long, complicated, and long.
Some other favorite games of mine were Star Ocean, Shattered Galaxy (still, very fun) and Super Smash Bros (good god, I must have spent at least a year of my life in waking hours playing that game with friends - so addicting)
