Simpson's arcade game

Hello everybody. You guys remember the simpsons arcade game right?
ohh man i havent played that in so long, i used to play it everyday when i was younger.

I remember one proud day when i was about 6 or 7 years old i beat the game! The last part of the game was you had to fight Mr Burns and Smithers. Mr. Burns was in this big robot thing and you could only see his head at the top.
I remember he was the hardest thing to beat. I used up soo many coins on that thing, but i did it!!

anyone else ever get to beat it, or that far?

i tryed once i put 5 bucks in it and still couldnt make it, i think i split the coins between to people tho.

yeah i always wanted to beat it. i think i might be able to find that game on mame

i just googled mame and it sounds pretty cool. yeah maybe they have it. how far did you get in the game?

They still have one of the machines in an arcade near a run-down theater in Azusa... not that anyone knows where Azusa is.

That was my favorite genre of arcade game. The scrolling beat-em-up was the pinnacle of cooperative play. It made friends out of anyone that put their quarters in.

There was a sweet X-Men one that was probably my favorite. Then there was a Dungeons and Dragons one and even a cool Aliens Vs. Predator too.

Fucking hot... middle of a heat wave here.

Of course the hottest part of this house is 82 degrees so I can't complain. God bless air conditioning.

I think it came in third though of my most played games however.

1) Cap. America
2) Street Fighter
