3 week old abandoned puppy brought to US from Armenia (pics fixed)

So my cousin and his new wife just went to Armenia and before they got married they had this big argument about pets in the house they were gonna move into together, my cousin was 100 percent against getting a dog. but Kristy kept pushing it and pushing it. still no go.

So they just got back from Armenia and they brought home a stray puppy they found by this Monument called Babig Dadig in Stepanakert. here's the description they sent me:

"this new 1 month old puppy +/- is now a newtown square resident after much veterinarian bribing and palm greasing.
covered in fleas, ticks, scars and completely dehydrated, she was abandoned underneath the dadig babig statue in stepanakert and hours away from death. kristy nursed her back to health in yerevan. we made her a nice bed in a dolma pot.

we have no idea what breed(s) she is or how big she will get.
the local vet estimates that we found her when she was under 3 weeks old, as she still does not have her teeth yet and is weighing in at about a 1/2 kilo (just under 1 lb).

her name is Niva, named after the small tiny russian cars that flood the streets of armenia."

Isn't he? it's funny too she only had to ask him once. he was like yea well if we leave her here she dies. we HAVE to take em. tnad they got it through customs and everything, bought the thing a 200 dollar plane ticket, got the vet in armenian to write some sort of document lying about it having gotten rabbis shots and all this stuff. crazy shit!
