what kind of genre do they fall under any way? are they really music?
And as for those hecklers 'throwing rocks' what kind of come back is "do you want to go home?"

Wow. So much hate for one band. I like Nickelback. I don't love them...I don't think I would pay money to see them live. They certainly got a huge percentage better when they got a new drummer.

I think you guys are being music nazis. Why so judgemental?

It's something I can't explain over the internet - it's the voice. The way it seems to be coming from the back of his throat with this sort of - nope, can't explain it textually. if I had a microphone I'd record my impression.

Most music has enjoyable qualities to my ears.

And I try not to hate much.

Hell, almost every live band that performs well is fairly enjoyable for me, being a musician with a desire to develop that kind of dedication and technical skill.

That being said, I don't like Nickelback. I find their music trite, predictable, and often uninspired.

However, I am moderately disgusted by the notion of going out of one's way to hate on anything.  It is a waste of time and energy, for the hater more than anyone.

P.S. I loved that remix with the two songs together... not only did I laugh, but it was also a lot more musically interesting than either of the songs are on their own.

I liked their first album and second album but they keep recycling the same ideas into their songs and they bore the shit out of me.

Nickelback absolutely grates on me. I can't put my finger on it but I just despise that band. I'd rather listen to a boy-band than Nickelback.

Well how many different opinions can you have about a band? you either like it or you hate it... after 20 people weigh in with comments we start running out of "original" room.

I personally can't stand them. every single song is in 4/4 time, in one of the 3 keys they know how to play in, with absurdly simple melody lines. Huzzah Power chords!
