yeah, spencers is the coolest store. I bought my friend an ashtray from there a while ago that had cool amanita-style shrooms painted on it.

differentiate? yeah.

no way, hot topic sells scenester clothes, whereas spencers is more directed towards gag gifts, random trinkets and shit,

they have lots of cool room decorations... good stuff for trippin. I was in there the other day and i saw this projector that projects the stars onto your cieling, complete with clouds, meteors, sattellites, etc: essentially your own personal planetarium. it was like 100 bucks, but i wanna get it when i have some spare cash.

Bottom line: if i had to choose between spending a day in spencers and a day in hot topic, i would choose spencers without a second thought.
