like I said before, wtf is up with oink compared to demonoid

Seriously, what the fuck. I upload or download something from Demonoid and it's like the fucking fire and never stops uploading, rather than with Oink is like a continuous struggle to get some shit to upload.

Maybe more people with better connections.. T1 or T3 are seeding on Oink so they take all the bandwidth away from others. idk, just my theory.

i'm pissed though, becuase oink has so much more shit than demonoid(music wise) and yeah. I've uploaded 15gigs on demonoid as oppossed to a lousy fucking 6gb on Oink. I've been on oink nearly twice as long as demonoid too.

Just wait until Oink has the holiday give away. Free downloads but your uploads still count towards your ratio. That way the rest of the year you have a good enough ratio to download what you want until the next free holiday.

Definitely be careful about your ratio until the free holiday leech, but also if you add your vote to a lot of popular requests, you'll get a message when the request is filled and if you jump on the torrent you can get a lot of upload credit that way so long as the S/L ratio is good. Basically, be one of the first 20% of people to jump on a new, heavily-requested torrent and you'll get uploads.

Not everyone has the same taste in music as you. Demonoid is pretty much a public tracker. Almost everything you get from public trackers come from demonoid. Demonoid is also one of the most watched torrent sites by the RIAA and MPAA. Its right up there with Pirate Bay

I was downloading motherfucking harry potter the deathly hallows audio book... 800mb... There's only one person seeding so I figured I had made it just in time... BUT NO there was an asshole with a T3 that stole all the bandwidth and hogged all the uploading. I don't wanna sound like a winey bitch but that's what happened. I've only uploaded 200mb of it so i feel i'm still in debt.

my ratio is fine, i don't really go overboard or get something on Oink Unless I REALLY want it and don't want to bullshit with demonoid.
