Random Scenario

My buddy and I play this all the time:

What would you do? It's made apparent that you are in a contest. In this game, you are in your city, only with one other person of equal age, size and intelligence. The object of the game is, kill or be killed. You have 15 days, and if both of you are alive at the end of those 15 days, you both die. You can use any means necessary to kill them. You both find yourselves randomly placed within the city (you could initially be a mile apart or right next door to each other).

What would be your plan?

i'll start it out.

i know how to weld. i would go down to the tractor dealership in my city and get what i could, then take it to my shop and weld on some armor and shit, just make it as fail proof as possible. then i would run around setting fires and trying to attract attention while at the same time trying to confuse him/her. then i would just wait it out in a spot that i knew the person would have to cross through, and gank their ass.

I would be a real dick about it. I'd try to snipe him, kidnap his family, or just plain trick him into getting killed. I'd probably contact him and tell him that I know how we can get out of this situation and ask him if he wants to meet up and talk it over. Assuming he accepts I'd booby trap the meeting place with a big ass bomb

i think you fail to understand the scenario. there is no one else there, the city is shut off except for you two. sure, you could try to communicate with him, but chances are he would just think it was some kind of mind trick, and just attempt to kill you instead.

Oh, ok that makes things much simpler. I'd probably just run it and gun it. He'd still have to try to kill me and I'd make sure I was very well armed

I'd go to a gun/weapon shops and pick up some weapons destroy as much as I can making anything I leave behind useless and set up traps in these gun/weapon shops. I'd leave IEDs lying around the city in spots that s/he might go or frequent. Then I'd start on rigging up the city to be destroyed ie. making skyscrapers tumble onto smaller structures, see if I can get a domino effect going on, and just destroy everything I can (just to get back at the twisted individual who set up this competition). Then I'd hang out in sewers untill I see some one walk by, aim, shoot.

Or possibly you could just grab a case of bottled water, then assuming it's a fairly small city, burn all the stores and then heavily poison the remaining water supply

I'd hide until we were both dead.  Its the only way to guarantee I wouldn't lose. At least It'd be a draw....and it'd piss him off to no end in the meantime!
