Yes, it would be wrong, whether she was rich or poor. You're obviously just bitter because you're poor and need to house-sit for people that you'd rather justify stealing from because they've made something of their lives and that bothers you. Your entire first post reeks of jealousy and over-exaggeration (i.e.: SHE has 3 Nintendo DS's ... but oh, wait, one of them is actually her BOYFRIEND'S ... thus, she has 2 DS's, and one of them is not hers and happens to be lying around, but that doesn't seem to count)

What a horrible "friend" you are. And she's trusting YOU with HER house? Her mom obviously worked hard to own and maintain a bunch of beauty schools and real estate. Good for her. Shame on you.

There are many valid arguments against copyright infringement, but equating it with theft of personal property isn't one of them.


Technically you are stealing from the corporation that paid programmers to make said software, which is, a product regardless of if it is or is not a phyiscal thing in your hand, or a piece of code that runs on a machine.  If you didnt pay for it, and it wasnt gifted to you legally, then you stole it.  It doesnt matter if you would or would not have ever purchased it beforehand.  c'mon ythan.

If you have to question yourself on weather or not what you are oding is right, your probably doing something you shouldn't.

Keep in mind they worked there ass off to get where they are at today.

There was a time in my life when I would tell you to sell your friends house and get some crack with me but now that I am slightly starting to begin to mature I am gonna have to say don't do it.
