I dont know about CNN, but if your a firefox user, the extension called video downloader might work, if it does it saves to a .flv.

Just take the spaces from between cnn. and com.

Load into your download manager.

It is 11.3 MB


If you dont have a download manager, but do have firefox, you can put the link in your url bar area then click enter. It should come up with a download dialog.


It will want to save as costello.salvia.drug.affl_576x324_dl.flv But rename it something simpler as some computer will have a hard time figuring out how to play it with all thoses dots in the file name.

I would name it "cnn salvia story.flv"

Awesome! How'd you figure that out? A View > Source revealed no "flv".

i have the extension "adblock plus" on my firefox. it lists all elements in a page when you click "open bloackable Items"

The CNN page just happened to have it listed in those elements. it had the .flv extension and everything.

Just happens CNN's coding let it come through, i just saw it and downloaded just to make sure it was right. when i saw that was it, i passed the link on.

It's weird how it doesn't show up in the source; and UnPlug wasn't able to detect it.
