I can't say from experience if they work, but I've heard of people using them with success. Only way to know for sure is if you try. I've found that opening up and fanning out the Co2 works adequitely for me, but if you want something more self sufficent then that would be a technique worth testing. Happy Harvests :biggrin:

I think you must be refering to an airstone. This is a fairly good way to introduce new O2 into your terrarium. However, you still need a way to get the CO2 out. I found that a few holes in the terrarium stuffed with filter fleece or cotton batting helps.
