Weed and brownie mix?

I was wandering how much weed to put into my brownie mix, ive found plenty of recipies for making them form scratch but ive got a brownie mix.

THe mix weighs about 250g, i have plenty weed to put in it what would be a nice amount to definatly feel it but not totally tripping?

Does the recipe call for butter?  If so, you would be better off sauteeing the herb in butter first, then making the brownies with that.

Throwing the herb in the mix will still work, but not nearly as well as if you got the THC into the butter first. 

What you can do if the recipe doesnt call for butter, is put the amount of herb you want you want in a small amount of butter, then microwave it for ~5 minutes on 30-50% power and put that in the mix. Using a small amount of butter with help release the THC from the weed and will increase the amount that gets absorbed when you eat it.  Plus it is a small enough amount of butter that it wont effect the recipe much.

Cool i just threw in a "handfull" of weed and hash no butter.

Next time i will make them from scratch and use the butter, thanks for the advice...so just heating the weed in the butter then cooking is ok?

Idve thought that cooking the weed twice would damage the THC?

THC is fat soluble so I think the butter is used to absorb the thc or something like that.

i made brownies with a mix. The mix called for half a cup of oil so instead i used an equivalent amount of butter. Make sure you use butter too and not margarine. I put the butter in a sauce pan and melted it and then put the weed in and let it saute for several minutes. Then i put it in the brownie mix, mixed it all up, put in the pan, put in the oven, and they turned out nicely.
