have u noticed how most people wont walk on the grass anymore, if there is a concrete pathway they,ll walk on that instead even if they have to go extra distance to their destination, are they afraid what people will think of them if they walk on the grass? look for this phenomenon

If it's someone's house, I respect pathways. Everywhere else, I walk where I fucking please.

Respecting people's hardwork or expensive yard is different than conforming to the norm or whatever conformity you're jabbering about.

One time I saw this honda driving on the pavement.  I think that represents something deep.  I just don't know what it is yet.  :strokebeard:

Well I mean that's what the fucking sidewalk is there for. Landscaping is hardwork and costs a lot of money. I would be pissed if someone stepped all over my yard, public or not.

It's fucking grass and not the fun kind, I go where I please.

That's my impression of the middle of a conversation with someone who actually calls me on walking on grass.

One my favorite things about winter is when there's a really big snow and the ground stays covered for several days\weeks, the various competing paths across the snow that form with one path for whatever reason finally winning out and being the one that everyone ends up taking.

Anyone that's an avid people watcher, as in just sitting there drinkin' coffee or whatever and specifically studying the movements and collective actions\reactions of people, will tell you that most folks will take the easiest, most obvious routes even if they're not the most enjoyable or efficient-- and usually that's the sidewalk.

Umm...

I walk on the concrete pathway because I don't like it when my shoes get wet by morning dew/after rain water drops.

But that's cool, you can think that my personal aversion to damp footwear to a sign of conformity...

I'll tackle you for walking on my lush lawn. Trespassing will not be tolerated.
