Vaseline for Ultrasonic Humidifing

Hello all you lovely people. I used the search engine on this subject believe me, but I just wanted to maybe get some new ideas with this one cause it sounds good.

Okay my terrium is way too small for a drip shield, and I reall don't want to use one. I am using an Ultrasonic humidifier, and if I coat the top of the terrium with vaseline will it reduce the water droplets forming on the roof of my terrium? I know the water droplets won't be totally gone but A vast reduction would be great. I know if I don't use anything I will get water droplets all over my cakes. So it's either this vaseline thing really works or I try to shove a dripshield in my little terrium.

i once read a post where someone suggessted propping up one side of the terrarium with a bok or something so that the water would flow down to one side of the terrarium. Sounded good.
