Saw them last night. Futureman is fucking ridiculously impressive (seriously, who the fuck invents an instrument like that?). Wooten is just simply amazing. Bela, seen him before, definitely good. Sax player was also impressive, knew how to bring the energy. It's sad to think that a vast majority of the people watching just didn't understand it. Didn't understand how sick Wooten is. Didn't understand that Futureman fucking plays drums on his "guitar." Shit like that disappoints me. No bassoon for us though.

Oh yeah, he did that shit too. Or when he plays the set with left and the neck of his thingamajig (holy shit that's really a word!), he did that a lot. He is just impressive, so different. Wooten always blows my mind, too. I might have to say Fleck is the least impressive of them all, and he's the "leader."


We didn't get that guy either.
