I am a professional web developer and I always thought that I would like to improve this site a little.
I have strong knowledge of PHP/mySQL and I have lots of ideas to share. I don't feel like listing all the things I can do and all the things I've done but believe me I'm able to help you out in many aspects.

I?ve been designing web-sites and, internet-based marketing campaigns, since ?92, and I?ve had several Fortune 500 companies as clients. I have a BFA in art/design, and computer experience dating back to the late ?70s. My coding skills include html, javascript, php, mysql, perl, c(whathaveyou), linux, apache, et cetera (i.e. 6502 Assy, PASCAL, Hehehe...). I also own and operate a small server cluster in a first rate colo-facility.
I?m sort of semi-retired, and I?ve got an upcoming move pending, but I?m always interested in chances to abuse my skills for little or no pay, so I?ll sort of check in from time to time?

i'm studying information sciences and technology (pretty fancy huh?) right now i'm interning for the summer recreating a business's intranet, coding chat forums, dynamic pages and what not. i can basically do most webdesign.. i don't know php but i do know asp which i wouldn't imagine is much different.. code is code ya know? drop me a line thor and i could probably help you out..

I'd like to join I'll drop you an email detailing what I can bring to the team for any of you who use macromedia I can definetly work with you I design alot of buttons as well as just doing straight up graphic art I use macromedia Flash 5.0 I haven't upgraded yet to the new one macromedia always cost lots of denero and I use Fireworks as my main graphic designing program I can show samples if needed I'm a lil stressed for time today so I'd rather not upload them today but I have over three years experience designing custom stuff most for my own use and I work well with teams;)

I concur! I saw Flash mentioned, but I didn't give it much thought, as I assume that the use of Flash will be ancillary to the main site features and navigation interface. As someone who has been designing web-sites since the early '90s, I would also like to say Flash should not be used in the primary User Interface design. The UI should be a low-tech as possible -- much like it is now -- simple server generated html.
PS: I would also like to see you keep both PHP and mySQL. They are great and powerful work-horses with a broad support-base.

I do HTML and Design with Photoshop and some Bryce (not landscapes mind you but psychedelic) I am considered by some to be the resident psychedelic artist on deviantart.com. For a few samples of my work you can go here and here (note to anyone reading: all the images in the deviation packs I have linked to are copywrite and not to be used elsewhere without pryor permission) feel free to view this work on natures finest fungi and enjoy.

I have a computer... Its a really nice computer, witha keyboard and a mouse thingee and a flat screen monitor. I can type like mad fast and have a cat that sits next to me...
Do I qualify? Id really like to help...
Id really like to design a "Drug testing" part for the shroomery... Their are just soo many drug testing myths out their and soo many questions on the subject... Ive even gone so far as to create a shell in Dreamweaver and added a few pics recently but theirs just soo much text to type for it that I dont think Ill ever start on that part.
If Someone would like to put together, edit my speelling and add nice graphics to a drug testing section for the shroomery I will write the text and send it all to you..
I am thuroughly read on the subject and feel that this information has to get out somehow...
