I don't see why people hate him so much.  His films are always insightful and entertaining.  Just have to take it for what it is: A very liberal filmmaker who is not hiding his agenda.  You know a Michael Moore "documentary" isn't going to be necessarily fair and balanced.  You can still learn a thing or two from watching his films.

Let's see, he's tackled big corporation takeover and it's effects on American Poverty (Roger and Me), Gun control (Bowling for Columbine), Bush and the war (Feirenheit 9/11) and now Health Care.  Looks like he's at least trying to get people to be politically aware, regardless if they like him or not.  I personally find him kind of funny.

I really don't get why people hate him so.  :shrug:

I liked Bowling for Columbine, but not Fahrenheit 9/11. I find the man himself to be kind of annoying. Ugly too.

I equate Michael Moore to a person who posts a controversial post on a thread.  Not Scat or racist remarks, but something that the poster knows his opinion will be met with a lot of opposition and controversy.  However, that poster has just gotten the open discussion started, and with open discussion comes awareness and possibly deeper understanding. 

Perhaps he's giving the viewer too much credit to assume they will not just watch his movie and take his views as gospel, but start looking into the issue more after the movie is done.  Even if it's to try to prove him wrong.

I'm looking forward to Sicko.

i think that he makes a lot of good points, in a not so entertaining way...idk..i mean....of course there are all these problems with the government from a "left" point of view...

but i mean it is just as easy for someone with a "right" point of view to make this type of movie and they could have just as many points to make...


i mean..sure he is "informing" us of all these things, but he is also making some major movie out of it and will make a fuckton of money off of it...


i will see this movie, but not until it is out on dvd and someone else rents it
