Anyone here read Tom Clancy books? What did you think? How about the cliffhanger ending in Debt of Honor, which Clancy basically predicted a terrorist incident like 9/11, but wrote it in like 1995. He's quite the writer I must say.

I've read Rainbow Six and The Bear and the Dragon. I find them especially interesting after 9/11. Did you catch The Sum of All Fears? I don't know if I like the idea of Ben Afleck playing Jack Ryan. I also have a few of his Net Force books.

Rainbow Six isn't typical of Clancy's writing though, it's just his insane desire to be in the military manifested. His other books are much better, not just one shooting terrorist incident after another. I really reccomend yall start from the beginning: The Hunt for Red October. That book really gave me chills. I really could imagine myself in this submarine in the deepest trenches of the ocean, unlike the semi-crappy movie.

I thought Rainbow Six was the best book he's written. Ive read Sum of All Fears, Debt of Honor, and Without Remorse.

They were all pretty good.
