President Bush became the victim of a biological attack during a press conference on terrorism when a bird relieved itself on his suit. "It was his lucky day... everyone knows that's a sign of good luck," said Deputy Press Secretary Dana Perino.

The attack is not expected to draw retaliation. Former presidents have not been quite so forgiving. Eisenhower reportedly told an aide to shoot any squirrel that went near his putting green and Carter whacked a swamp rabbit with a boat oar.

"This is one of those cases where there are… no good military options… If you're trying to get an army sniper in there, well then the Air Force and the Navy are going to say whatever happened to jointness?" said military weapons expert John Pike.
