Smallville Season 6 Finale

Anyone else watch this show? I've always enjoyed movies/tv shows about people with supernatural abilities. Well I just watched episode 22 of season 6 last night, I think it was called Phantom. A lot of things were put out into the air. Clark finally told Lana his secret, Lana left Lex, Lana was killed. Then Clark found about Lionel being Jor-el's emmisary, Cloe also happend to discover her meteorite power, healing, by cureing Lois Lane with her tear. And finally, Clark goes toe to toe with the Phantom, who takes Clarks DNA to become his evil double, Bizaro!

Well I think it was a good episode, but here is my problem. It seems like Smallville just keeps running around the inevitable, having Clark just run in circle's from episode to episode, with nothing really major ever happening. And then every once in a while, they tease you and make this episode where everything in the show seems like it will just change forever. Like for instance in the end of season 5 when Lex was possesed by Zod and the entire planet is in a riot. Then somehow, next season comes along and the strom settles once again as usual, the episodes go back to running around the inevitable. I just hope they dont try to pull off the same BS and calm the waters again, putting smallville back in the same continuous time-loop it's been for a while. Give Clark his freaking suit already, let him fly, let him fall for Lois.... Just my humble opinion.
