I grew up in a tiny conservative town, and pro-lifers STILL rallied at the court house all the time, holding up all sorts of offensive signs and yelling at passing cars to honk if they love babies and stuff.

Talk about preaching to the choir

Preaching to the choir is really the only thing that works. Convincing people with opposing views is virtually impossible, and people always use too extreme tactics to ever sway people who are on the fence.

These aren't students by the way. Well, I'm sure some of the people out there are students, but I don't know if it's actually affiliated with OSU at all. An OSU pro-choice group has set up camp a couple feet away, but they just got some little measly table. They did write a shit-load of stuff on the sidewalk though. At least they're putting in effort.

i've always leaned towards pro-choice, but lately i'm having a hard time with that position. i don't think it should be said that being Pro Life means someone's a crazy asshole or wants to be angry. It seems like a legitimate issue to me and I can understand the flair of emotions surrounding it.

I think most ppl don't really know wtf they are untill they are in that position. People are just soo anxious to jump on some sort of bandwagon in this counrty most don't care if they believe in it or not and most don't even know the facts about what their fighting for.

I like the pro-choice Biblical argument.

Solomon said himself in Ecclesiastes that it's better to have never been born at all than it is to be born into a world of strife and hardship.

Job agreed with him.

""Why then hast Thou brought me out of the womb? Would that I had died and no eye had seen me! I should have been as though I had not been, carried from womb to tomb."
(job 10: 18-19)

And in Exodus, it's written that a woman's life is more valuable than an unborn child's. The Bible states in Exodus 21 that if a man strikes a woman so as to cause a miscarriage, he is to be fined. But if he does further damage to the woman (death, basically), he is to be put to death - a much more severe penalty. It's clear that God's followers understand the value of human life over potential human life.

Yea those pro-life people are annoying. They have huge posters of lil fetus' all in a bloody pulp. Like why would I want to see that on the way to class. And then we have this crazy ass evangelicast dude. Talkin about "this is an erect penis entering the vagina....in out in out in out...squirtsquirtsquirt" TO end saying that we will all get HPV(Harry Potter Virus) and are all going to Hell. He goes all out hand motions and all. Gets into it.
