... and a DSLR is incredible overkill for simple pictures. A good 3MP Nikon or Sony camera will get the same results from someone not accustomed to photography and cost about 1600$ less, at least.

I've been following the development of the Cannon DSLR and it is just an amazing camera, all the flexablity of a SLR and all the benifits of a digital camera
The features on this camera are out of this world, you can take up to 15 frames per second with it, now hows that for some great stop motion pictures
