How much should a shirt cost?
    #6880649 -

How much should a basic t-shirt cost?
Basic pair of pants (not slacks--just regular pants or jeans)?

The ones I bought were just plain, basic t-shirts, though--'no designs; nothing. So, I guess $15 was a little pricey.

Eh, if they were good quality, not just some shitty Hanes undershirts or something then I would probably be fine with paying that.

I know, but they don't fit well on me--the ones I bought at American Apparel fit the way they're supposed to.

I find a few good t shirts, and I wear the shit out of them. I still have the same 5 t shirts I wore when I was in college. They're durable, strong and they all have special meaning.

I still pay cheap for t shirts, and save my money for some nicer digs. Ya dig?

yea American apparel has some good basic clothes...
I personally only buy very few clothes, but the clothes I do buy are quality made + pricey.
I rather just buy 2 pairs of jeans for around a $100 each, and have them last for over 3 years....rather than buying cheap clothes that fall apart and having to go replace them

$100 jeans are seldom worth $100. Unless they come with a good looking maid that will put those pants on me, then no. I've bought pairs of jeans for $25 on clearance that have lasted 3 or 4 years. Some have got small holes in them that I patched up.

It depends on the shirt, Concert shirts 15-20, designer shirts 20-30, long sleeve and polo types can be up to 55, jeans no more than 60 bucks.

I just bought 30 shirts for 2 bucks each at a thrift store. It's the only way to shop for clothes if you're a poor college student

Yup, cheapest polos I buy are $42.
I spend money on clothes and music, that's really all I spend money on though.

I buy the Levi's premium line + the red tag line or whatever
they range from 75-125, and they fit me SO much better than the basic line, its we'll worth it in my opinion.

I also like diesel jeans but those are fucking outrageously priced, up to 300 dollars for a pair
I only have one pair and grabbed them on sale for 110.

Nah, I just buy nice clothes and maintain them so I only pick up a new shirt or pants when I have extra money. Its built up to a pretty full closet over the years though.

How the fuck can $300 for a pair of jeans be justified, other than "a fool and his money are easily parted"?
