bootlegging concerts

does anybody have and experience w/ this? I've got a concert coming up that I want to record (just for personal use) but am unsure how to.

I've tried using my cell phone at the last concert I went to but I was only able to record a minute at a time and the end results were full of static (see attach file).

I considered trying my mp3 player but I think I will have the same problem w/ static plus I don't want to risk loosing it.

Are you fucking kidding me!? Of course it was full of static! Cell phones are probably the cheapest, worst-quality audio recorders there are :laugh:

dude lol.

Use a laptop and a Mic. on a boom. Or a MP3 with a Mic. and boom.

Oh shit. A lot of the shows i go to allow taping.

i hadn't planned on recording the show when I had gone, I had decided to try my cell after I was already there.

But I want to record my next concert so I'll check out those sites.
