STS9 presents RE:GENERATION at DEERFIELDS

STS9, along with All In Compass, are excited to announce their triumphant return to one of America's most incredible hidden jewels for live music events. DEERFIELDS is located just outside of Asheville, NC and will provide an amazing backdrop for one of this years must eclectic musical gatherings. STS9 will perform two sets each night (July 6 & 7) with a slew of special guests including both Prefuse 73 and Telefon Tel Aviv performing FULL BAND live sets, plus Dubconscious, Collective Efforts, Natalie Walker, Kaptain Harris, Lyrics Born, Glitch Mob, Goddess Alchemy, Telepath, Cosmic Wind, Grogus and more. This event is a camping event and both car camping and tent camping will be available. Optional car camping parking passes will be available for purchase. Tickets for this event will only be sold as a weekend pass and are available NOW! exclusively thru STS9Ticketing.

wow.. prices are kinda steep though. $110 for two days plus $40 for camping. I really wanna go to a good show this summer, but $150 is a big chunk of money.

No, you can avoid the parking fee if you park and carry your gear. Plus you can go back to the car at any time( you just can't leave an come back)

Just think, it's $50 a day for the awesome line-up. ( PLUS CAMPING AND MANY PARTIES ALL OVERR THE SITE)

Does anyone know ho many tickets will be sold for this event??
Hopefully no more than 2000, or else it might get out of hand( which would be a good thing :crazy2:)

I think it's gonna be THIS sts9 show, and transformus( both taking place at deerfields) for my summer tour this year.

Bonnaroo is just too fucking big

yeah, i went to bonnaroo the past two years, but i'm just too broke to spring for the trip again. and it's pretty taxing, being in the middle of the field in 100+ temps without modern amenities.

i dunno. like i said, i really want a good show. and this is relatively close (only two hours or so). but christ.. over 100 bucks for just two days? i just don't know.

Huge fan hats, bandannas, water on belt or shoulder straps, light shirts. It's way easy to stay cool at festivals, just remember a lot of water!
I laugh when I see someone being miserable in the sun, because it's so easy to not be. Long sleeves and light pants are way cooler than shorts and a tank top.

i got your ride if you are anywhere between michigan and asheville :sun:

this announcement has been slowly leaking on thelowdown and pt for the past week or so, now that it is official my summer will start a week earlier!

as for people complaining about the price, i don't think it is that steep considering the location, 2 nights of 2 sets of sts9, and quite a few other great acts (telefon tel aviv alone would be worth $50 for me, and 2 sts9 shows with onsite camping is pretty much priceless!)

yeah, i mean.. i'm not saying it's not worth it. it'll no doubt be a great show. but i'm just not sure how i'm gonna pay rent this summer, let alone make it to a show that costs this much.

i'm going the homeless route june 1 so i don't have to pay rent all summer; find a place for september 1, figure out something for june, spend july in my car, august in my ex's car. :woot: for traveling
