Chewing and holding in your mouth is probably the most effective method of ingestion

I got a buzz off just half of a stem last night by chewing it it and holding it under my tongue.

Just swallowing shrooms makes you digest them; and the idea is to absorb them. Yeah, you absorb what you digest; but not as effectively as your mouth absorbs things.

It doesn't have to be UNDER your tongue (although I think that's where people have the most receptors); your whole mouth is full of receptors--better than your normal digestion process.

I think the Shaman's tradition was to hold them in their mouths for 15 minutes.

Might be a fun experiment to slowly chew, hold and finally swallow like 30g fresh over an hour... maybe a few grams every 5 minutes.

Did you ever drink beer in shots? People try 60 shots in one hour, and it FUCKS YOU UP. Maybe shrooms have the same magic quality!

Probably wouldn't get through the hour... by 45 minutes, you'd be feeling the vibe and wandering around the house.

There is no uniform tradition for "the Shaman." There are various cultures with various shamans with various methods and rituals. There is no general shamanic method for ingesting substances across the board.

Yes! Holding the shrooms in your mouth works great!

If I have the option (I'm not dealing with a bag of powder...) I always chew and hold the shrooms in my mouth for a good 5 minutes. I find it better to split the dose up and eat it over 15-20 minutes (you should just be able to feel smoething by the time your done). Helps with the come up.

it has a name - its called power hour. you put on a mix of that has 60, 1-min song segments (they usually have a theme), and you take a beer shot every time the song changes.

Century club is 100 cans of beer in 72 hours... usually Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It's a very elite club. It sounds easy, but beware, 33 cans a day for 3 days is almost impossible. By beer 70 or 80, it's like drinking piss. :puke:

We must do a different century club around here, because I was told that what you did was a 100 minute power hour with a shot of vodka for the 100th minute. And yes, the point of the vodka is to make everything hard to hold down.
