I usually use either www.torrentspy.com or www.mininova.org. Those always work the best for me.

there are private trackers out there that require invites to gain access to the torrent files. They require you to keep a certain ratio of downloaded bytes to uploaded bytes, this stops people from snatching files and running and increases the download speed. This stops problems like reaching 98 % and stalling out or experiencing download speeds less then 20 k/sec.

Sites like demonoid and oink are good examples of private trackers.

Oh, I see. I download from demonoid a lot without the private things. I think an invite would be cool too, since the problem you are describing is rather annoying; I've been ignorant of it up to this point.

careful with that, private trackers encode user ID's into the torrent files to track leechers like you. It's a quick way to get an account suspended.
