building my first flowhood...

I've always used a glovebox in the past, but as i want to expand my gourmet growing operation (to sell with my vegetables at my roadside stand and farmer's market), i've decided to build a flowhood. I have acquired a hepa filter at super cheap (under 40 bucks)
hepa filter page
However, I cannot find any information on the static pressure rating of it to match a blower to it (not that i've understood most of the technical stuff about matching a blower with a filter)? Could I just call quixtar tomorrow and ask (will they even have a clue what i'm talking about when i mention static pressure, the people at quixtar are idiots, trust me i've worked and lived with many).
I honestly have no clue what i'm doing, but have been looking at every flowhood tek i can find and i'm pretty sure this one will work if i can get the static pressure rating.
I was also wondering if perhaps one of you more knowledgable in the flowhood dept. will be able to confirm that this filter will work, if not help me out a little further.
Thanks in advance to everyone...
btw, the clips on the side are just plastic easily removed....

well agar, i certainly am not going to argue with you, because you for sure know far more concerning this matter than myself. I was hoping you, RR or one of a select few others would be my first replies so for that i am very happy that i'm dealing with someone who knows what they are talking about.. but please try to explain why it will not work (i like to understand why things work or don't)
hepa filters 99.97% of particles down to. 03 microns
this filter claims 99.99% and particles down to .009 microns, therefore (i assumed) meeting hepa filtration standards. While yes it is for a household air cleaner, i thought that what it filters is whats important. It certainly isn't for one of the cheap ones from sam's club or whereever. I am elgible for big discounts on products (huge discounts) due to having household members that work for amway/alticor/quixtar etc.. I've seen filters that look like this saying hepa filter but when you look at the technical sheet they don't come close 99.97% or .03 micron particle filtration and are far cheaper than this one (this one retails around 150 bucks the unit it is for retails close to 700).
I must admit all the technical imformation confuses me a bit.
So again, my question is WHY won't this work meeting those requirements? Or will it (just needing replacement more often or something)..
I have the air cleaner so the filter is far from a waste if it won't work.
Should i just forget it and find a 12x24x24 like you said (i didn't want to go for a 4 sq ft flowhood, but obviously I've gotta do what needs to be done)

thanks for the reply brainiac, i think it's kinda funny that mine retails at more than fp sells their 12x24 hepa...
Maybe it's just cause alticor (quixtar) is run by a bunch of fat rich white men who like to keep their pockets full... in my expiernce i always found fp to be a bit pricey (although comparitively the price at fp is much better than quixtars i guess 'fake' hepa), I'd rather not drop over 100 dollars on the filter, i can certainly afford it, just defeats my purpose of trying to save a bunch of money with the discounts i can get. If a hepa like thsoe styles as you and agar described are absolutely neccassary (it's looking that way and crushes my excitement of getting a hepa for 30 bucks) i guess i have no choice.

The fp series one flowhood is a good deal for the money. The link you posted to is not what you want. Nowhere does it say 'laminar flow' and they say 'UP TO 99.99% effeciency', not 99.99% effeciency. That 'up to' is the catch. You need a laminar flow HEPA, not a furnace filter type HEPA, because it has to hold static pressure on the back side in order to achieve laminar flow. RR
