Never played disc golf, but I try and play ultimate whenever I can.
The same people I know who "hack" play a lot of disc golf.

Yes, I broke out a "J" yesterday of some chronic that made them all choke.

Shit, this ain't no joke.

They had to back up off of it, and set their discs down.

Ultimate Frisbee is a game more similar to football using a large light disc....disc golf ( as you know) uses small, heavier discs for play...

Ive played disc golf for 7 years.I love it.Its one of the few things that are free.I play alot at hoover damn in ohio.thats a pro tournament course.You ever heard of the hambrick classic?Im no pro but the course is a blast.27 hole course.Id like to play on shrooms.But I figure Id lose intrest and just start walkin around the woods.

First time in a tournament and I played amateur class.

I usually score anywhere from even (on a good day) to +5 (on a bad one).

I just totally biffed it for the tournament. :eek:

Yeah, it happens. My first tourney was at a 24 hole that I usually shot +5 from the long tees and I finished +12 from the short tees! I did a few practice holes and a bit of putting before it started but I still feel like I didn't warm up enough. I rarely play tourneys any more, but some day I'll get back into it.

Keep at it, man. To get ready for a tournament I would always play the course(s) scheduled every day for a week, mixing up tees and pars. If you are really thinking of getting into tourneys you should buy a putting basket or make a cheap one. A few solid hours a week and in no time you'll be making every shot inside 30 feet.
