My all time shroomin favorite is 'Careful with that ax Eugene' by Pink Floyd. It gets a little crazy in the middle but if you can stand it long enough the intensity of it all fades slowly back into relaxation. Almost any Floyd will suffice but this is my favorite for shroomin.

I dont really have picked favorites but....
I tend to listen to star guitar by chemical brothers a lot as well as almost anything by aphex twin

gym class heroes are from my hometown. travis used to come over to my house. i actually have one of his art notebooks right in front of me now.

Any Reggae (not really peculiar about bands, but I always get really cheerful when a classic like Buffalo Soldier comes on unexpectedly), Pink Floyd, Dimmu Borgir, Sublime, Tool, and Nightwish too.

Damn..... Dogs by pink floyd is FREAKY....

Those dogs barking scared me.... I wasn't sure if it was dogs or not... VERY VERY good song to trip to.. the whole cd that song is on.. I must expand the floyd collection for trips lol

2. Conbination of the two (intro to Fear and Loathing)
3. Pink Floyd (Any)
4. Jimi Hendrix (all, but Voodoo Child, Fire, and Purple Haze are classics)
