on that note my ratio is almost .300 and ive only dled ~1gig
it's great! i hope to have a 1.x ratio by the time i hit 5gigs.

I just DLed some Blue oyster Cult CDs and can't upload a damn thing. I guess everyone is too afraid to download much of anything for fear of the ratio bans. Seems like a viscious circle that works against the site to me. I never have any trouble uploading Demonoid stuff.

I guess I'll go ahead and grab the new Vista torrent and cross my fingers that people download it.

I have 8 oinks going. The Vista one is the only one people are uploading. Both of my 2 Demonoid torrents are uploading. We'll see what happens overnight.

The key to getting a good ratio on Oink is to upload your own stuff.

Another easy way to get a good ratio is download some stuff that was recently uploaded that you think is going to be popular. Like an album in .mp3 format or something. If you are one of the first downloads to complete, you will end up seeding it to LOTS of people. Also, you can do like Redstorm said and just upload albums. Upload them in flac format to get the most out of it.

Yup, that's why I DLed Vista. I currently have a .32 ratio on Vista alone just from overnight. Overall I'm at .20 so far though because of the damned BOC CDs no-one will upload that I have to make up for.

This will tide me over until I start uploading my own stuff. I'll milk Vista until no-one wants it anymore.

Does anybody else have one? I just learned how to forwards ports today and did it but even before that on other sites I always have a good ratio.
