Good Single-Song Downloader?

Usually I use torrents and get whole songs but sometimes I just want to download a single song? I used to use things like Limewire and Bearshare but those have more viruses then a hooker's rectum. So anyone know a good method?

Usually torrent clients allow you to select the files to download individually.

i like allofmp3.com for single song downloads, you do have to pay, but it is like .05 to .15 cents a song, so you get all the singles you want in a day for like 5 dollars...or just look at the files your downloading through your torrent client, and only select the tracks you want, if they are broken up that way

Yeah, I used to use a brilliantly designed site that would instantly sign up for an account on those kinda sites, get the 1 free for joining song, then cancel the account (at least that's how I think it works) but it's been on the fritz lately

DEFINATELY GO WITH THIS. Though if you're into more mainstream music it might be hard to find what you want. It's fucking OUTSTANDING for electronica and my all time favorite Psytrance, as well as all sorts of different types of indie music.

Yeah I used to use Limewire a lot but I got some nasty viruses from it. It crashed the hard drive of my old computer.

If I transfer my downloads to a USB flash drive, retsart my OS completly, reinstall Windows, erase my hard drive, etc., then transfer my limewire songs back to my PC, will it be OK?

It has nothing to do with the songs, it's the actual program itself thats bad.

Though if you've downloaded anything other that songs, like anything zipped up or any executables of the like, shit could very possibly be contaminated. All it takes is one stupid fucking .exe trojan and all the files on your computer could be contaminated.

I kinda knew, that about the exe files.

Thats why all i download is music and video files.
Never in zips, either.

I'd uninstall limewire and run some anti-your mom I mean spyware programs on your comp.
