Greetings From Ft. Benning, GA

well, in a nutshell im getting discharged from service due to an injury I suffered in week 5 of my training. I get limited computer use, so hopefully i can check back and read some responses. Pretty much I'm taking 6-12 months off to recover (knee and ankle injury) and then returning to service, but under a new contract and everything

i should be home in 1-2 weeks, in time for the gathering :smile:

i missed you guys!

yeah, i saw that shit. I was actually rooting for them against florida, they really suprised me.

i watched the xavier game from the hospital, i thought they were going to lose that one. down by 7 with like 1 minute left.

yeah i was debating it. but oh well. if i get bitched at, i get bitched at. I do an important job. I handle all the processing for people in and out of the army right now. so if they piss me off, ill quit.. its volunteer shit. and shit i shouldnt be doing and def not getting paid to do.

yeah it does.. im lucky to not be paralyzed. I fell about 15 feet and was knocked unconscious when i fell... like i hit this rolling log thing on the way down.

yeah, i figured the letter just got lost in the mail shuffle, that happens quite a bit. but atleast im on my way home.. sucks that i have to rehab my body and then start completely over, but this was actually a pretty fun experience.. i met some cool people and laughed my ass off at some of the funniest shit ever.. i love getting ripped by drill sergeants and watching people get ripped.. the training was pretty badass too aka.. gas chamber and land mine/ combat live fire exercises..

i cant wait to get back into action.

the government is full of lying ass basterds who are trained to cover their ass?

i mean overall, i really enjoyed the experience.. if you learn how to play the game.. then its easy, but if you live in fear of the DS, then your fucked.. thats why they never really fucked with me, they knew yelling in my face did nothing to me.

and i learned that the government likes to waste TONS of resources; money, clothes, food, ect.

id gladly, and probably will do this all over again.

EDIT- and not to be racist or anything but I also learned that Blacks from the south are wayyy different than Blacks from the North. the amount of hostility towards white people is fuckin unbelievable. Anyone else experience this at all? Idk, i come from Ohio where it literally is pretty much color-blindness in a sense... here in southern georgia it really does seem like its still divided.
