I just tried to reply to a post in the Advanced Mycology Forum. After typing for 15 minutes, I click send and read "You do not have permission to post in this forum". I think, OK, the thread has been dumped, so I click the back button to copy my post to paste it in another thread on the same topic, but see only "You have read only privileges in this forum." So I click back again read "access denied".

Would it be possible to modify the script in such a way that a composed post could be salvaged when a thread gets dumped while one is composing a reply?

Not long ago, Anno fixed it so that information would not be lost when people failed to select a subcategory in the mushroom hunting forum. Perhaps a similar fix could be applied to this unfortunate consequence of the present state of affairs.
