A do it yourself guide or tek on how to build a good grow box? I have a 400 watt metal halide and am thinking about building a grow box for it. I think I can sell it for a pretty good amount, if I build a good, solid box. Thanks for any help ahead of time.

I always wanted to make a total stealth box out of one of those metal locking cabintes you buy at home depot or lowes........

while I don't have a link, or any advice on how big to make the box, I'd advice to use salvaged materials.
You can make the box for practically nothing if you pull a part some palates and re-assemble.
You can find free, good wood, in a lot of places.
A lot of the guides outhere just give you basic dimensions... you have to figure out how to install the light, attach air rotation tubes, and even add a carbon air filter to the unit.
I bet they'd sell nicely, I'll keep my eyes open for information

i like to surf through the www.icmag.com forums and fantasize about how i would go about building a grow-cab if i had the funds and space. you could check it out for ideas. this link specifically has a shit-ton of useful links http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=40637

I know of several instances where people have made stealth growcabs out of dressers, desks, and the like. also, home depot has some pretty nifty utility cabinets that work great, but are kinda expensive (like $150-300).

You can build a grow box out of anything. Here's one I made out of regular little drawer.





I simply removed the bottoms of both compartments, covered the insides completely with foil, and attached a CPU fan to the back for air flow. I used to have a lot more pics of it but I lost them.
