Hacking a car DVD head unit?

Recently I got a Kenwood DDX7019 DVD head unit, it has an operating system as well as a touch screen GUI.

Anyone ever hack these or change the OS to like a linux system w/ touchscreen capabilities?

I'm thinking it'd be badass to do that.

That would be pretty sweet. I wish I could hack my nav. system. It pisses me off because I have to come to a complete stop to enter a new destination. Even to delete a destination that I've already entered.

And I want to watch cartoons.

There are ways to change the ground wire that attaches to the break system to let you do it without hving to park.

I don't have to go all the way into park, I just have to come to a complete stop. It's tied into my speedometer somehow.
