My best buddy lives in Burlington, 4 miles from the brewery. I fell in love with #9 when I used to drive up there from VA but now that we have it down here, I've gotten pretty burnt out on it.

We still don't have humble patience.
Jinx and Roxy Rolls are pretty good.

My favorite beer is Fat Tire's Sunshine Wheat, but I really like the #9 from Magic Hat.

I haven't seen any of those brews around here.

I gotta drive at least a half hour to buy good wine, next time I'll have to place an order for some. What's the best one?

I'd like to try Fat Tire and Terrapin too, I've heard they're both really good..

They got most of them at a couple good liqueur stores around here. 8 hours from the brewery.


Yeah the glass jugs are cool. I am looking at two right now. I even bought a few pint and shot glasses when I went there.

Coolest brewery i have found yet.

Fat tire is a line from new beligum. I burned myself out on fat tire, i can't drink that particular beer anymore, tastes burnt now. My fav new belgium beer has to be a tie btwn loft and blue paddle.

I love magic hat beer, #9 is my fav, but i definitely think there are better breweries out there.

I lived in the city that New Belgium is located, for 20 years.  I've done many tours through that brewery.  I've had Fat Tire straight from the "tap."

damn, i'm coming to visit sometime!

i don't think they export to michigan; the only times i've had fat tire has been phish tour, when kids from out west sell it 1/$3 2/$5. i'm sure they've got a ton of other great beers, too, but fat tire is the most "simple" and appealing to non-beer drinkers, so it tends to be the only one people sell on lot :frown:

I'm partial to number 9 and circus boy (even though its a little out of season atm). Roxy rolles, and most of their mystery beers are just way, way, way too bitter to be enjoyable drinks IMHO. Jinx tastes like coffee.

I used to love magic hat, but I've moved up to stuff that costs a good bit more (I rarely drink, so when I do I want it to be vintage, and taste awesome). Lindemans ftw!

A lot of people like Sunshine Wheat from New Belgium too because most places throw an orange slice in it, which makes it taste even better.

1554 is quickly becoming my new favorite beer.

Ever drank anything from the Flying Dog Brewery?  That's another great Colorado brewery.  I'm not sure how much they ship out though.

I can't say which I like best because I only had the #9. I liked it very much. I hear the hi.P.A. is quite good.
