Seeing DSO soon, should my gf and I split that 5 strip we've got in the freezer?

My girlfriend of 3 years and I have plenty of experience tripping together, but its always been mushrooms, and on that drug we've discovered that crowds aren't the best and nature is the place to be.

However, on our single prior lsd trip (one hit white on white each), we danced our asses off to yonder mountain and met lots of people. It was magnitudes more social than mushrooms. The thing is, that was only a +2, and just barely that. Just a good liberating, dancy vibe and an undercurrent of psychedelic weirdness.

For our second LSD trip, would it be a bad idea to split that 5 strip of unknown potency and put ourselves in a small club. I mean, the MUSIC will be there to help, but that does seem like a lot of lsd for 1st-2nd timers. I just don't want to waste what little cid we have piddling around with a smaller dose. I want the full experience.

God, how I love DSO!

The music will be so great that I think splitting a 5 strip should be no problem. Always good to be cautious, though. If you are worried, save 2 hits and take 1 and 1/2 hits each.

I'll have to say go for it man...LSD is beautiful. I can handle myself MUCH easier on L than on shrooms, & LSD + concerts is un-fucking-real.  Do it up brother. :grin:

I wouldn't confine yourselves to a club. Maybe have a backup plan if shit gets lame there. Plan out shit before so you don't have to make decisions when you are tripping. But seriously try to find something to do when club just ain't working anymore.

listen to what Rahie said....you may get bored/uninterested quickly...so have a fall out plan just in case!

have fun...ive tripped at DSO multiple times....park yourself in the front row and get your face melted!

DSO is a decent band to see,

but i wouldn't waste my doses in the confines of a small club.

i'd suggest easting all the doses way before hand, and enjoy yourself outdoors,

and then hit up the show later on, so you get the full experience,

and still won't be oerwhelmed at the club..

That is good advice, but they may both be comfortable tripping in a club. When LSD was plentiful, me and my girl used to dose and go to the casino or to the clubs and we were very comfortable with it.
After all, if you have to ask if its a good idea to drop acid somewhere, then it probably is not and you will have a bad trip worrying about it.

After all, when is there never a good time to drop acid? I cant think of any, but thats just me!

I wish I could have great trips like the majority of people here. I find my trips are always full of confusion and are depressing. No matter how happy I am the week beforehand when I dose I just feel like my entire life is shit and I'm just going about life in the wrong way. Granted, I don't have much experience with psychedelics. I like just sticking with weed and alch.

how the hell would shit get lame at a DSO show? (assuming you're a head)

sure, there's the problem that the show is probably 3.5 hours tops, and L lasts a good 8-12, but that's what hanging out in the lot before and after the show is for :grin:

yea I realized last night that sunday is easter, when I'm going to have to be conversant with both sides of my family.  Its just too soon after an all night friday trip.  Don't want to be a zombie :smile:

Thanks for the advice guys.  I think we'll just wait till next weekend and eat the doses in the mountains.

We're going to dance our asses off anyways.  We were completely sober at phil & friends last year, and that didn't stop us from raving in a shamanic frenzy in the rain all night long :gd_icon::scrambled::gd_icon:
