DSO @ House of Blues

I saw DSO last night at the House of Blues in Atlantic City. I have seen DSO four times now, and I can honestly say that each time, they have blown the roof off of the venue. Last night was a good old, in your face, rock and roll show. They just keep getting better and better. Lastnight they played 9/5/79 from Madison Square Garden.

I must say I was really impressed with the venue. The HOB is in the Showboat Casino, and it is a nice comfortable place with plenty of room to mingle, dance, etc. Bars on either side of the floor. They also had stadium style seating above the floor which looked like it would be a sweet place to take in the show from. Highlights of the show for me are def the Halfstep>Franklins Tower opener...PeggyO>Loser>Promised Land was a great way to close out the first set. The second set was where they really started to cometogether...Scarlet>Fire was freakin nuts....as was Eyes. But the overall highlight was the rocking finale to the second set of I Need a Miracle>Bertha>Good Lovin....they were going crazy..just rocking out sooooo hard. If any other shroomites were there....they will say the same. And of course the Terrapin encore was damn near perfect.

thats awesome man i havn't had a chance to see DSO but i love their stuff. hopefully they'll be up in toronto in the not so distant future:thumbup::gd_icon:
