tempature and potency
    #670355 - 06/09/02 04:50 PM (22 years, 7 months ago)

I'm just wondering if anyone knows whether certain tempatures can effect the potency of the mushrooms. I know that the target range is 74-78 degrees, and i know that they can grow in lower and higher temps. I just want to know if making the tempature lower(or higher) might make mushrooms more potent in the end. Has anyone experimented with this idea??

doesn't it depend on the specie of mushroom?
I don't think temp has anything to do with the potency of the mushroom.
But hey I could be wrong.

Temperature usually controls how fast or slow the fruits show up and mature. I doubt they would release or decrease any more or less potency. However, I have no proof, just my $0.02
