disposable credit card problems

damn! i got an American Express gift card from safeway to order seeds online. But they dont take AE! only mastercard or visa does anyone know if you can get a mastercard or visa gift card? or what i am suppossed to do with this 100 dollar piece of shit? could i return it?(im thinking no) or i was thinking i could take it to a store and buy something then return it. hope im not too fucked on this one

Dude, there are TONS of places that take AMEX. I have an AMEX card and have never once been denied anywhere on anything.

I'm sure there are still a few legacy wierdo's out there, but just shop around and you will find a place to use it.
