when are next generation zunes supposed to come out?

these are obviously the best ipod type contraptions, biggest screen, nicest software... best accessories

but when are they supposed to come out with the 2.0 versions of them? hopefully they will put an 80 gig hard drive in the next one and have the sirius satellite radio hook up... ill buy one for sure.

it would be even cooler if they somehow are able to incorporate blue tooth for headphones...

and for that matter, what about all of the other ipod alternatives... do they all have similar software? i.e. being able to orgainze your songs and videos, download new music... or is this a feature exclusive to ipod with itunes and zune with the zune manager?

are all able to download podcasts?

i don't think there's any consensus that zune is the best by any means, but of the ones i own i do rather enjoy mine and agree that there needs to be an 80g version, hopefully improved battery life as well.

I'm guessing Microsoft will "innovate" version 2.0 after Apple releases the next generation iPod. It is kind of hard for Microsoft to innovate when they have nothing to copy.

I have no love for the iPod, but you have obviously not used both if you think the Zune player has the "nicest" software or is somehow better than the iPod. Both are a waste of money in my mind... but the iPod is certainly a better product.
