Dried and fresh

I have just been reading around about people asking on how to dose and usually the reply is something like 2 grams dried or 20 fresh... Am i reading it wrong? do u have to have more fresh or whats the go i dont understand.... because i have got level 2 trips from eating one decent sized shroom....

I think it's because dried shrooms weigh less. So basically it would be the same amount of psilocybin. Am I right? Roughly?

That doesn't make much sense. Just know that yes, you need to eat more fresh shrooms than you would dry to have the same level trip. Go to the dose calculator found here at the shroomery and punch in your numbers.

if the mushies are freshly picked from a casing and have some dirt on the bottom of them and you wanna know what they will be dry.. multiply the wet weight by .065 to get the dry weight.. this takes into account for water and dirt.. trust me.. using the 90% water rule is bull shit depending on the strain.. experiment with it for yourself..

I disagree.. if you dont find them going to around a tenth of what they were when wet I don't think you dried them properly.
