Mp3 Tagging

Would anybody point me in the direction of a program that automagically tags MP3s using a database? I have found several but they are all like 30 dollars and I don't feel like paying 30 dollars for something like that. If anyone can find a free program to do the same as say Magic MP3 Tagger or Fixtunes that would be great.

I use TagandRename. It costs money, but it should be easy enough to find a key generator for it. Just google for TagandRename crack key.
You can get album info from www.amazon.com or CDDB using this program. Also can edit whole album tags in one go (for Album name, Artist name, genre, year). Makes tagging a hell of a lot quicker and easier.

use windows media player to rip your music, it automatically downloads the song titles from a data base. next use sony sound forge to convert to mp3.

converting from one compression format to another is a good way to unnecessarily lose audio quality.

maybe but i hate wma's and i hate typing in song titles every time i download a cd.

Exact Audio Copy does the same thing - it uses CDDB database to grab the song titles. Just need to check that all the titles are spelt correctly because there are sometimes mistakes. Not to mention EAC is a better quality ripper than Windows Media.
