i love the trumpet in the intro and all the sweeping stringy guitar noises. also its just a damn cool song.

i have listened to this song on so many trips its ingraned in my nerons :grin:

somthing about the spontinaity of this encor tho. i just love how it sums up the whole lemon wheel.

I would have to say I love so many of their jams, but if you are talking about the lemonwheel from 1998, then I'd have to agree with you on that being one hell of a jam. I can always go for a good "runaway jim" or "antelope".

I could never pic one favorite there are way too many good ones for me. But the one i appreciate the most is Stash i just love it's meandering jazzines with Phish's style.It just shows how diverse they are.

if i had to choose an actual favorite song i think it would be ghost, or moma dance. oh hell its too fucking hard there all good

but that baby elephant walk is just sooo zany i cant stand it. iv probly heard it 50 times and its still crisp :laugh:

im just gonna throw this out there:

i dont know one phish song. i couldnt even name one off the top of my head. i didnt even know what a jam band was until last semester.

could anyone host and expose me to what you think is the best phish song?

There was a great version of this show on etree not too long ago.Nugs,net sound quality isnt that great.

Piper is special for me. Specifically the version at SPAC 04. That was the first time I got to hear it live...I know I'm a newb hehe. But I just love the lyrics to that song and it is a rush for me.

love that tune. the lyrics are a trip. i never even knew them till about a week ago when i looked them up. i always just murmered along.
i love how echoy and round the lyrics are. they just keep swirling around the song
