twiggedoubt, the "Ripper incident" (as I referred to it) happened shortly before I arrived at the Shroomery. Aside from reading a few threads about it when I first registered and dealing with the people on IRC who came to ridicule him, I really didn't know much about it. I've never read the entire log of that night, just portions people have pasted here and there. Some of our fellow shroomerites knew him in real life and were very close to him, so out of respect to them, I don't want to rake up too much crap.

It was a very tragic moment for the Shroomery, indeed.
