hey can i get a subforum in the sports area?? and change radio sub?

i know many of my suggestions get shot down. hwoever i think this one is rational and i can justify it. id like a "Combat Sports" subforum in the sports area. right now alot of our combat threads are getting buried by conventional sports threads very quickly. MMA is the fastest growing sport in the world. many people on here are fans. also the combat sports forum would be for boxing, wrestling, K-1, etc... these sports a very different than the traditional team sports more popularly discussed. i think the difference warrants a subforum. in the same way drug war got separated out in pa&l...the same way hiking, camping was split from gathering. i guarantee it would be a well used forum.
should we have a combat sports subforum?

oh and also could we add movies and television to the music, art , lit forum. i think we should replace the unused radio forum with tv/movies, it makes perfect sense. again any kind of tv or movie threads get buried very quick in otd or the pub. hten we end up getting like 1000 threads on the same movie over and over. sooooooo lets kill the dead radio sub and make a logical switch

plenty of people, in fact omr made a thread in there today with no place to put it. it just makes sense to have the forum. enough tv and movie threads are made that get buried and remade 100 times it warrants this. this way lets say 24, there can be one long discussion about 24 in there. or any movies people post about time and time again. we have a useless subforum in the perfect forum to post it in. soooo its only common sense. film is an art, TV is also an art. sure there is tons of garbage tv, but there are some fucking brilliant shows on right now. epic series, anyone who doesnt think so go check out ROme on HBO

I think its a good idea King
I dont get into it but it is very popular
Its a specialized sport and could use a subforum
That way id see less of you in the actuall sports forum

How comes? When I look in the sports forum, the 12th thread on the screen is already 2 days old. There is hardly enough traffic in the sports forum to justify itself in the first place. And you want a sub forum of a forum on the verge of its existance?!

The 12th thread in the Shroomery Polls forum is over a month old. :wink:

I don't think a sub-forum is a very good idea. There aren't really too many combat sports threads.
