Bah. Good artists but not a good 'Bonnaroo' lineup. If you're as spot-on as you were last year then they better add some more artists if they want me to go.

Although a friend we went down with last year had a service-dog with her. She got very poor treatment from the Bonnaroo folks for having her dog, which she had all the papers for, so she has been e-mailing the Bonnaroo people. Apparently now she will be going down to Roo a week early this year to educate the crew on how to handle people who have service animals with them. For this she gets 2 free tix and a parking spot in the handicap section with another spot next to her. So if they add a few more artists that I really want to see I'll probably make it down as well and take advantage of the killer parkin spot we'd get.

I think they add more artists something like 3 more times before the dates.

Yeah, but for the most part each addition was maybe 1 good band and 10 'who-the-fuck-are-they' bands.

imo, that lineup looks pretty shitty with some not even a handful (yet) of bands I'd like to see, but that's just me

Yeah, exactly...I would like to see either of those bands (without paying an exorbitant amount, though, for either) but neither of them really says "festival" to me. The Police could headline a festival in the UK or Europe and it would make a lot more sense. This is certainly an odd departure for Roo..

me as well. most of the acts from that line up that i'd want to see are going to be at wakarusa, a much more reasonably sized festival. i've done roo and i'd much rather be at a smaller fest to see mmw and p-groove.
that being said, pearl jam will be a monster headliner for roo, i love those guys live. they put on a hellofashow.
