happens every 5 years or so. snowed all last night. took a few pics...

taken this morning at work

i wish my camera sucked a little bit less.

hell has officially frozen over guys.

i was wanting to go out and find a nice looking saguaro covered in snow, but alas i was working all day and the snow is melted by now. its supposed to do it all over again tonight. its funny when it snows somewhere it usually doesnt.... people freak out over an inch as if it were a couple feet.

I got some hail up in mesa, that's about it. But it did kinda stick to the ground and form slushy snow-like piles, hah.

Very light hail here in east phoenix/tempe.

Ahh, I love when el nino hits.:grin:

I still remember the one time I saw snow here in the valley.  It was 4th grade, and the principle came over the loud speaker "Its snowing outside!".  The teachers let us out and we were soooo excited.  Of course the flakes were minuscule, and melted before they hit the ground, but it was snow.  For that brief instant, I didnt live in a brown oven baked hell hole... I lived in a normal beautiful place.
